Hapkido

This is one of my favorite pics! Our friends have opened their own Hapkido school of Martial Arts. We attended opening day and the boys fell in love. AJ was able to break through 2 child boards at the same time. Eli was able to do a single child board and thought it was the greatest.

Omar had to have a little help. We are excited to start. Me, Omar and Eli will be starting this week and can't wait!

Omar's First Day!

Omar had his first day of school today! He was so excited he was up at 7 and wanted me to get him ready. Problem was he doesn't even start till 12:30!

We got to the school nice and early and he got to wait on the bench for his teachers lot let him in.

He started on a great day. He had a Thanksgiving feast.
I really thought he would cry and beg me to stay. He didn't even look back and tell me bye when he went in. Gotta love my Omie!

Summer Haircuts!

Today we decided that we needed to get ready for summer. AJ and Omar wanted their regular old haircuts.

Eli on the other hand had to be different.

He told me he looked like a "real cool dude!"

Omar & Eli's Birthday Party!

We had a great time at the Mets game with all our friends and family!

The boys got to throw out the first pitch. Omar was scared at first but he warmed up to the idea.

This is Ben, Alex, Ricky, Julianna, AJ, Devon,Gabby, Slider, Anni,Omar, and Eli!

Eli is our ladies man as we all know. This is not his "lady" this is his best friend as he has reminded me many times.

They needed two strapping strong men to do a push up competition. We got my dad and our friend Nick to do it. Matt won!

One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish

I decided the other day that it would be a great idea to finally bring home our fish tank from my mom's house. Only problem is Omar thought that since the tank was here I would automatically fill it with fish. With the holiday season right around the corner we figured we would wait on filling the tank. Problem with that Omar was not taking no for an answer.

So, to keep him from crying I created fish for him. He loves his fish. He is so silly he was so excited to show daddy his new fish when he came home from work.

Crazy For Krabby Patties!

For Halloween the boys decided to go with our favorite characters1

For Omar he is the one and only Spongebob Square Pants. Square butt included!

Eli is the silly Patrick Starfish. And yes those are pink pantyhose and yes he will probably hate me for it when he gets older.

AJ is Mr. Krabs. Also wearing pantyhose and well he already hates that I made him wear them.
Thank You Nicole for letting us use the girls leggings and shirts!

First Day of School

Eli's first day of school was not just hard on him. Mommy cried just as much as he did. He started it a week before regular public school.

AJ on the other hand is a whole different story. He started first grade like it was nothing. He according to him loves being in school.
Mommy and Omar celebrated the first day of school with a few mommy friends at Bob Evans. Yummy!

Happy Birthday Party

Monday we celebrated Eli's 4th birthday and Omar's 2nd birthday. Nicole and her gang came over. Our new friend Sherry and her boys came over, Aj's baseball coach and his family joined us as well as both sets of grandparents. The kids enjoyed hot dogs, chips and Ice Cream cupcakes.

Everyone had a great time with the water toys. The one vinny (above) is playing with shot balls out the top. We also had a slip and slide and a kiddie pool.

After the crowds died down the Ancewicz's stayed and played elefun which grandma and grandpa bought the boys. Over all it was a great day.

Playing Hookie

Me and Nicole decided to let our Kindergarteners stay home from school instead of going on a field trip. We all went to Nicole's house and had fun in the sun by the pool. Omar looked like a little mad scientist with his beakers.

Eli just wanted to run around the pool making Omar crazy.

AJ on the other hand had a lot of fun playing with all the balls. He and Nick decided to play baseball and a couple of times AJ had to jump back into the pool to get the balls they knocked in.

Sunny Wet Saturday

We found a slip and slide in the garage today and decided that we should give it a swing. It was unopened and we can't even remember when and where we got it from. Omar loved the idea of the water not the idea of sliding. AJ and Eli on the other hand thought it was one of the greatest things ever.

Spring Break

Spring break has gotten off to a smashing start. Everyone loves to start their vacation with a trip to the dentist. I have to say that I am very proud of Eli he handled it like a big boy. Today we ventured out to take a trip to a very fun park. We were there for quite a while till we were ushered out by an advancing storm. Tomorrow Nicole and I thought we would see how exciting it would be to take 7 children to mall. Wish us luck. I am including some dark fuzzy pictures of the boys that we took at Easter. All I have to say is Omar is an old man golfer. As well as a picture of what happens to my house when I try to do homework. Let me tell you this was just the living room I didn't take pictures of the kitchen, hallway and both boys bedrooms.
