We Like Silver!

Today against The Storm The Raptors put up a good fight. AJ and his team came in Second place. Its okay though we prefer Silver. Our buddies Sal, Kelli, Vinny, Nick, Ed and Nicole all came to cheer him on.

I am glad to say that our team was the best team out there. Not once did anyone through a fit or become a poor sport when things didn't go our way.
We have to say a big Thank You to our coaches: Coach Raj (head coach, Ian's dad, far right), Coach Aldric (our favorite coach of all), Coach Trevor (Ricky's dad), and last but not least Coach Jorge (Alejandro's dad). These men worked their butts of for this team.

Wish Us Luck!

Tonight was the second to last baseball game. Tomorrow morning we will be facing our arch nemesis The Storm in the championship game. We barely squeaked out a win tonight against the Rattlers and we need a lot of luck to win the team that has beat us every time we have played them. So lets hear Lets Go Raptors from all our family and friends. Nicole and the kids are coming to cheer AJ on. Either way we are very proud of AJ and the team for trying their hardest and giving it their all.

Happy Birthday Party

Monday we celebrated Eli's 4th birthday and Omar's 2nd birthday. Nicole and her gang came over. Our new friend Sherry and her boys came over, Aj's baseball coach and his family joined us as well as both sets of grandparents. The kids enjoyed hot dogs, chips and Ice Cream cupcakes.

Everyone had a great time with the water toys. The one vinny (above) is playing with shot balls out the top. We also had a slip and slide and a kiddie pool.

After the crowds died down the Ancewicz's stayed and played elefun which grandma and grandpa bought the boys. Over all it was a great day.

Field Day

Nicole, myself, Eli, Omar, and Nick all went and watched Kelli, AJ, and Sal in their field day. AJ did three races and won first, second, and third respectively. They all did fantastic. We then got to watch the classes go against each other in two relay races and a water filling relay.

Awana Awards

It has been awhile so lets catch you up on what has been happening. AJ and Eli had their final Awana meeting for the school year. AJ, Sal and Vinny all got awards for finishing their books. Kelli, Eli and Nick still have some work to do but that is okay they will be back next year. Even though you can not tell from these pictures the kids had a really good time.

Playing Hookie

Me and Nicole decided to let our Kindergarteners stay home from school instead of going on a field trip. We all went to Nicole's house and had fun in the sun by the pool. Omar looked like a little mad scientist with his beakers.

Eli just wanted to run around the pool making Omar crazy.

AJ on the other hand had a lot of fun playing with all the balls. He and Nick decided to play baseball and a couple of times AJ had to jump back into the pool to get the balls they knocked in.

Backwards Night

It was backwards night at awana and they told the kids to be as creative as possible. Our little gang here did the best they could. AJ did ask me though if he could wear his underwear backwards, I told him no one would be able to see them and he told me that he would just wear them on his pants. I told him no way and so his response was I will just wear them backwards under my clothes at least I will know.

Awards

AJ was very excited to find out that he got an award for reading 175 books also a Sunshine Math award. He came in second in his class. We are so proud of him. GO AJ!
