Daily 5

Eli had his a performance this evening it was on the 5 Daily things you should do for reading.

He had his very own line. "Step 3- Read to self. I love to do that!"

He then had to go sit and read to himself for the skit. He was so cute and excited!

Hapkido

This is one of my favorite pics! Our friends have opened their own Hapkido school of Martial Arts. We attended opening day and the boys fell in love. AJ was able to break through 2 child boards at the same time. Eli was able to do a single child board and thought it was the greatest.

Omar had to have a little help. We are excited to start. Me, Omar and Eli will be starting this week and can't wait!

Rodeo Fever

Last year we went to the Rodeo and Eli was amazed watching the Cowboys work their magic. He sat and watched and at the end of it all he said "When I grow up I want to be a Cowboy!" For months he would find Rodeos on TV to watch he was amazed. We were kind of hoping he would out grow it since Aldric and I are definitely not Cowboy people. Well when he found out the Fair was in town he very seriously told us "Did you get my Cowboy gear? I need to make sure I look good." So as you see we had no choice and let me say he looks good...hehe!

Omar then felt he had to follow in his big brothers footsteps!

We went to the Rodeo ready for all the Cowboy fun! We talked a few friends into coming with us.

Shooting For the Moon!

In February Eli made Citizen of the Month at his new school Palm Pointe. They did something that none of the other schools do. The teacher has to write a paragraph on why the child was picked for COM. This is what Eli's teacher Mrs. Sanguinetti had to say:
Elias is a pleasure to have in my classroom. He is always engaged in his learning and i appreciate Elias's kindness toward others. He is a great role model of a Palm Pointe Rocket!! Great job Elias!
I love it. They attach the paragraph to the award so that we also have that to keep.
GO ELI!!!!

Omar's First Day!

Omar had his first day of school today! He was so excited he was up at 7 and wanted me to get him ready. Problem was he doesn't even start till 12:30!

We got to the school nice and early and he got to wait on the bench for his teachers lot let him in.

He started on a great day. He had a Thanksgiving feast.
I really thought he would cry and beg me to stay. He didn't even look back and tell me bye when he went in. Gotta love my Omie!
