The Farm

Today Eli and his buddy Nick got to go to the farm. Nicole took the boys on a field trip with Nick's class, which will be Eli's pre-k class. Eli was so excited to hold the little chicks.

This is them being cheeseballs in front of the bunny cage. Poor Omar had to miss this fun adventure because he had an eye appointment. On a funnier note: AJ came home from school today and told me very happily that he went to the nurse today. I asked him why of course and his response was: I was trying to help my friend get a papertowel. My hand slipped and when it did it made a fist. Then my fist hit me in the eye. So I punched myself so hard they had to take me to the nurse. They thought I was going to get a black eye. All I could do was laugh at him. I still haven't figured out how you punch yourself so hard you end up in the nurses office.

100 book challenge

Today was the award ceremony for reading 100 books. AJ was in the award ceremony with his buddy sal (shown below) and then at lunch he was going to be eating with the principal. Today was also the first day of his new teacher. His original teacher left for maternity leave. We are hoping that this is a good fit.

6th Anniversary

February 10th was our 6th anniversary. We decided on celebrating with our friends Nicole and Ed. We went to this one resturant and left because well we felt way to young, we will leave it at that. We ended up at the Dolphin Bar where we enjoyed a great meal and drinks next to the river.

AJ's First Baseball Game

The Raptors, AJ's team, won their very first game. AJ did hit and score on his second time at bat. It was an outstanding win of 11 to 4. We have our second game on Saturday. Go Raptors!

100th Day

Tuesday was the 100th day of school. Nicole made AJ, Sal and Vinny these great shirts. I was asked by the principal at AJ's school if his picture can be in our local newspaper. I will scan the article into the computer when it comes out.

Baseball and Haircuts

Mr. AJ had his opening day today for baseball. He may be the smallest on the team but by no means does his size affect his game. He was 2 for 2 and was the only one to make it to 2nd base on his team. His team may have lost but it was great to watch.

His baby brothers watched from the bleachers while daddy and AJ warmed up for his 2nd turn at bat. Eli and Omar were very amazed to see their big brother out there in all his glory.
To continue on with brotherly spirits we decided that they all needed matching haircuts. Of course though Eli and Omar did not quiet like the new do's but AJ is used to it. Aldric was sad to see Eli's curls go, but if you ask me it was a much needed change.

Playmobile

We had never been to Playmobile and I was a little worried but the boys had a real good time. We got there about 10 and had to ply the boys out at 1. It was really cute they had all these different "lands". Everything was just the right size for our boys. Omar loved just running from place to place. Eli and Nick did each place equally. We will definitely be doing this again.

Bella

I just found this picture and thought I would share it with you. We were at my mom's house and Bella kept getting excited and peeing all over the house. My mom said we should buy her doggie diapers. Well it was Christmas morning and we were not running out to the store so we altered a baby swim diaper. Can you believe she let us?
