Sea World

On Saturday we went to Sea World. Omar was so excited about all the animals but I think his favorite was the sting rays and sharks. He was trying to stick his hands through the fence to touch the sharks.

This is our crew right out side the shark restaurant. We got to eat lunch in a really cool restaurant where the Shark tank was one side of the restaurant. We could see the tank from our table.

We decided that we had to take lots of pictures of the things that made the boys crazy. This is our favorite picture because it has the sharks and the sting rays together.

Friday Night Snow

For Sal's birthday weekend we went with our buddies to Orlando fur a fun filled weekend. This is in Celebration where they shut down the town square and let it snow.

Omar hated the snow he truly looked as if the snow some how offended him.

AJ on the other hand loved it very much, so did Eli but we for some reason didn't get any pics of him in the snow.
After our snow fun we decided to go eat dinner at this really cool restaurant called Joe's Crab Shack. They had a playground out front. We had to wait for a table since there is 11 of us, we decided to let them play. Omar climbed all the way up the jungle gym and decided to go down the slide which was a good 15 feet up. He loved it. The funny part is Nicole had been doing a great job of catching him on the way down, while I let him down the slide, but the minute I pulled out the camera Nicole missed her cue and well as you can see Omar had an interesting slide down.

Cars and how we love them

This weekend we got to go to the Port St. Lucie Parade and got to witness a couple of cool vehicles. These ones were my favorite.

This car on the other hand I don't like as much. Last night while the family and I are trying to sleep we kept seeing these really annoying lights coming from the backyard. We know that the empty lots behind our house are a hang out for people and we have gotten used to the stupid lights at night but finally last night they got a dose of there own medicine. I couldn't be more pleased.

2 New Updates

Yes my poor Omar only 18-months old has glasses. Can you believe it? We can't decide if he looks more like Abby Mallard or like the kid from Jerry McGuire. He tries to take them off when we are in the car but other then that he keeps them on.

This is the newest edition to our family Isabella or Bella for short. She is part American Bull Dog and part Shitzu. She is very cute.

Thanksgiving

We got together at Aldric's mom's house for Thanksgiving. We decided to try to get a group picture of all the kids. Poor Kayden didn't make it for the group picture.

This is Kayla Derrick's oldest and my oldest.
This is Mr. Kayden K. He is 7 months old and is cute as can be.

Sunny Sunday

It was a nice sunny day on Sunday so we decided we would go outside for a little while. Omar decided the grass needed to be mowed and pushed the bubble mower for a good half hour.

AJ has gotten very good at his bike with our house being on a cul-de-sac he has lots of room to ride.

We realized that Eli only knows how to ride his bike in reverse. He went up and down the street going backwards.

AJ's Birthday Party

We had to celebrate AJ's birthday a little late. He was really sick and we had to cancel his actual birthday party. So, this weekend we got together with our friends and my parents for a bowling get together. They had a lot of fun. Nick beat everyone at bowling. They got to have pizza and cupcakes at the bowling alley. Half way through the game they turned on the disco ball and turned out the lights and up the music. They had a great time doing their own versions of break dancing.

Halloween

For Halloween we decided the boys would all be characters from Star Wars. AJ was Aniken Skywalker, Eli was Yoda and poor Omar was a Jawa. Omar completely hated it as you can tell by his very happy face.

So the day after halloween Omar decided he would like to try on a different costume. I was folding the boys clothes and he took Eli's undies and wanted to put them on. So of course we let him then he wouldn't let us take them off.

Boat Race

AJ was very excited about the big boat races that were held at Awana. Him and a few of his friends got to build their own wooden boats and then race them by blowing their sails. It was the cutest thing. Sadly AJ did not win but he was a good sport about it and made me promise that next year I build his boat better.

Nicole's Pool Party

This weekend we had a great pool party. Eli loved the googles and Omar liked to wear the arm floaties even though he never got in the pool. As you can tell from the lack of pictures of AJ he was to busy to take a single picture.

Tropical Storm Fay

For those of you who are lucky enough not to witness our little tropical storms. I thought I would post the river that has gathered in front of my house. Earlier I watched a van try to drive down the street the water covered their front bumper. Don't worry we are all fine. None of us have lost power yet. Love you all.

1st day of school

Yesterday was AJ's first day of kindergarten. He loved it very much I just thought I would share his first picture.

New Mexico

We recently went to New Mexico to spend some time with my grandma. We went to Santa Fe and that is where these pictures were taken. The boys loved it we walked around and saw the old churches, hotels and shops. We had a picnic in the park and took our time getting back to Albuquerque. We got to see the Miracle stair case that is put together without a nail or glue.

It's been a long time

I know that it has been a long time since I have been able to do this. Things have been crazy. AJ started football. He practices 3 days a week. We recently moved and getting things set up has taken a lot longer than it should. As soon as we can get our wireless set up I will be able to use my laptop and post updated pictures of the boys. Talk to you all soon.

Omar and Eli's Birthday Party

We decided it would be a great idea to have the boys birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese. They had a great time. Omar and Eli could not keep their fingers out of their cake.

We had to wait to open the gifts till we got home. The boys were very excited with their presents. Thank you to nicole for all the help at the party and for the very cute clothes for the boys. Thanks to Matt and Reva for the toy chain saw and blocks. Thanks to my mom and dad for the golf set and ball popper. Thanks to Cheryl and Gabe for the savings money and the golf set. And Thanks to Nana for the Alvin and the Chipmunks movie and workbench. But most importantly thanks to all of you who were able to celebrate the boys birthday with us.

Omar's First Birthday

Today we had a cupcake party. Everyone who came had a great time playing at the park. Including Andrew who decided some of the kiddie toys looked fun. Omar was very excited by his first cupcake. Eli on the other hand knew what a cupcake was and had one a few times before, but he decided he would act as if he had never had one before. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO OMAR!
